Mientras que la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, el aceite de coco ha sido considerado como uno de los ingredientes m\u00e1gicos para una dieta saludable.<\/p>\n<p>Mmmmm, \u00bfnos est\u00e1n ocultando algo? Probablemente si.<\/p>\n<p>Personalmente no conf\u00edo mucho en todos estos informes y estudios. Muchas veces hay influencias pol\u00edticas o financieras, por lo que el resultado no es tan claro como deber\u00edan, si no por qu\u00e9 vemos estudios, eventos deportivos y de salud, financiados por compa\u00f1\u00edas multinacionales que bien sabemos todos no buscan exactamente la salud de la poblaci\u00f3n. Pero eso es otro tema en el que no voy a entrar ahora.<\/p>\n<p>Siguiendo con el aceite de coco, para aquellos que os pregunt\u00e1is si es bueno o malo para nuestra salud, quer\u00eda dejar aqu\u00ed mi propia reflexi\u00f3n personal-profesional sobre el tema.<\/p>\n<h3>Mi humilde opini\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No hay milagros, no existe ning\u00fan ingrediente m\u00e1gico, por bueno que sea, que tomado en exceso sea bueno para la salud. \u00a1Ni siquiera el agua! Creo que todos los ingredientes naturales que se consumen con moderaci\u00f3n son buenos para ti, para tu cuerpo, a menos que sufras de alguna alergia, intolerancia o enfermedad y no puedas consumirlo en absoluto.<\/li>\n<li>Espa\u00f1a es l\u00edder mundial en producci\u00f3n de aceite de oliva. He nacido y me he criado consumiendo, usando y disfrutando del aceite de oliva. El aceite de oliva es una grasa mono-insaturada, que ha demostrado ser muy beneficiosa para nuestra salud (si se consume con moderaci\u00f3n). Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 cambiar\u00eda el aceite de oliva por aceite de coco?<\/li>\n<li>Las tendencias, los\u00a0<em>foodies<\/em>,\u00a0<em>instagramers<\/em>\u00a0han promovido el aceite de coco, por lo que parece ser un producto esencial. Lo admito, yo tambi\u00e9n lo he incluido en mi dieta, pero solo espor\u00e1dicamente, cuando quiero un sabor de coco m\u00e1s intenso o una textura espec\u00edfica que el aceite de oliva no puede darme.<\/li>\n<li>Es cierto que el aceite de coco es rico en grasas saturadas. Las grasas saturadas son aquellas que, naturalmente, son s\u00f3lidas a temperatura ambiente y l\u00edquidas cuando se calientan. No confundir con las grasas trans, que son grasas l\u00edquidas procesadas por hidrogenaci\u00f3n para que se vuelvan s\u00f3lidas. Las grasas saturadas son las que se encuentran en el aceite de coco, la carne roja, la leche entera u otros productos l\u00e1cteos como el queso.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Una dieta rica en grasas saturadas conduce a un aumento del colesterol total, malo y bueno (LDL y HDL) que puede causar el bloqueo de las arterias o, en otras palabras, el riesgo de sufrir enfermedades card\u00edacas. El hecho es que en el aceite de coco, hace incrementar el colesterol bueno (HDL) en mayor proporci\u00f3n que el colesterol malo, por lo que la relaci\u00f3n mejora.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Algunos estudios han demostrado que los triglic\u00e9ridos de cadena media (MCT) ayudan a aumentar tu metabolismo. Debido a que las mol\u00e9culas de MCT son m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as, requieren menos energ\u00eda y enzimas para descomponerlas, por lo que se digieren y se absorben r\u00e1pidamente. Tener una tasa metab\u00f3lica alta significa que las c\u00e9lulas pueden sanar y reparar m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y tambi\u00e9n quema grasa a mayor velocidad.<\/li>\n<li>El aceite de coco es un ingrediente maravilloso para\u00a0<strong>tratamientos de belleza naturales<\/strong>. Puedes usarlo como desmaquillante y como exfoliante si lo mezclas con sal gruesa. Aporta suavidad a tu cabello y ayuda a eliminar la caspa. Enjuagues con aceite de coco promueven la eliminaci\u00f3n de toxinas y bacterias de la boca, lo que ayuda a blanquear las cavidades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mis sugerencias son&#8230;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Utiliza productos <strong>locales<\/strong> y f\u00e1cilmente disponible en tu \u00e1rea. No modifiques tus buenos h\u00e1bitos saludables solo porque haya tendencias\u00a0<em>foodies<\/em>\u00a0o de belleza. Confianza en la tradici\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Al comprar aceite de coco, opta siempre por un aceite de coco <strong>crudo, prensado en fr\u00edo y sin filtrar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Consume grasas con <strong>moderaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, no m\u00e1s de 2 cucharadas por d\u00eda (5-6% de su total de calor\u00edas diarias). Recuerde que el consumo de grasa no depende solo de los aceites l\u00edquidos.
