Avocado-sauce-1If you want a tasty, easy and delicious dressing/sauce to add to your salad, roasted veggies or pasta dish, this quick avocado dressing is what you are looking for!

Just need a blender and few ingredients to make your dish shine. What I most love about it is the combination of cilantro, lime and chili!! When you have a spoonful your mount will feel an explosion, fresh and burning on the same time. I’ve used coriander although you could easily change it for basil or parsley, but don’t omit the lime, it gives it a very fresh and sweet-tangy touch to the sauce.

Avocados are an excelent source of healthy fat- mono unsaturated fats. They protect against inflammation, cancer and support cardiovascular, digestive and skin health. Avocados are also loaded with antioxidants, vitamin E and beta-carotene. Lime is an alkaline ingredient, it scent causes your mouth to water and this actually aids primary digestion. Thanks to its high content of vitamin C and flavonoids, lime protects skin from infections and if you use it externally, its acids scrub out dead cells, cures dandruff, rashes and bruises.

This avocado sauce is sooo good and delicious. It’s super creamy and perfect option when you get home and don’t have time for cooking.

Super quick avocado dressing, perfect for salad, roasted veggies, pasta dishes or even as a dip with some croudités.

Plato: dressing, sauce
Raciones: 2 people
Ingredientes
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove peeled
  • a pinch salt
Elaboración paso a paso
  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
